🎭 Actors: What They Do at Open Calls

1. Check-In & Paperwork

• Fill out online form with contact info, height, age, experience, etc.

• Submit a headshot and resume (if required).

2. Slate

• Introduce themselves to the camera: name, age, height, agency (if any), and sometimes a fun fact or location.

3. Monologue / Sides

• Perform a short monologue (prepared) or

• Read from a script ("sides") provided at the audition.

4. Direction

• They may be asked to perform again with changes (e.g., different tone, emotion).

5. Interview / Q&A (optional)

• Agent may ask a few questions about experience, availability, or training.
